Who We Are
Redeemed Gospel Church Subukia is a Christian church serving the people of Subukia and surrounding areas in Nakuru County, Kenya.
The church began as a Home Bible Church in 1999 and was registered as a branch of Redeemed Gospel Church in 2001. Over the years, the congregation has grown from its early beginnings into what is now known as RGC Subukia Cathedral.
The church's journey has been marked by worship, teaching God's Word, evangelism, evangelistic crusades, fellowship, community outreach and church planting.

Our Story
From a small Home Bible Church in Subukia to a growing cathedral serving several hundred people, the story of Redeemed Gospel Church Subukia is one of faith, growth and service.
The church began under the leadership of Rev. Shadrack Muiruri Kamau. From 1999 to 2005, the congregation worshipped in different rented locations in Subukia.
In 2006, the church purchased its own plot. In 2011, the original plot was sold and the church acquired two other plots in Subukia, where it is currently based.
One of the major developments in the church's journey has been the construction of a 500-seater church building.

Redeemed Gospel Church Subukia is served by leaders committed to teaching God's Word, guiding the congregation, supporting families and extending the church's ministry into the surrounding community.
Church Planting & Ministry Expansion
RGC Subukia has contributed to the expansion of ministry beyond its main congregation.
The church planted RGC Shamanei and RGC Munanda in Kahiga. Joppa Home Bible Church also developed into what is now RGC Munanda.
In addition, nine Home Bible Churches serve Subukia town and surrounding areas.

RGC Subukia is committed to serving the people of Subukia and surrounding areas. Community ministry includes support for people facing hardship, food donations, shelter assistance, encouragement and school ministry.
Evangelism is also an important part of the church's ministry. Multiple times throughout the year, RGC Subukia goes out into Subukia and surrounding areas through evangelistic crusades to share God's Word with the people of Subukia and the wider community.
The evangelistic ministry is prominently associated with the phrase A City of Refuge.

Redeemed Gospel Church Subukia is part of the wider Redeemed Gospel Church family. RGC Subukia is a branch of RGC Huruma, which serves as the headquarters of Redeemed Gospel Church Inc.
Redeemed Gospel Church Inc. was founded by ArchBishop Dr. Arthur Kitonga. Through this organizational relationship, RGC Subukia forms part of a wider church family while maintaining its own local congregation, ministry activities and community presence in Subukia.
